Mr. Ryder was the Solution Architect for this client’s strategic Order-to-Cash (OTC) initiative. The processes in this initiative that Mr. Ryder oversaw included: Order/Invoice Management (pricing, visibility, available-to-promise), Accounts Receivable (invoice processing, cash application, collections), electronic data exchange, and customer profile/setup. As the Solution Architect, Mr. Ryder helped design a portalto provide one view of the customer across 13 lines of business. He also enabled ERP consolidation efforts through which common business processes were leveraged for future development activities. The business value that he delivered to the client were: an improved customer experience through a single point of access to orders and invoices and the creation of "self service" options through secure customer access points.


Domestic Trade Association

Mr. Ryder was the Shared Services Lead responsible for the strategy and consolidation planning of several Solution Groups which included Lending and Financial B2B and B2C channels. He also worked to redesign the future state of the client’s “back office” operations (Center, Customer Care, and Policy Administration). The deliverables that Mr. Ryder was responsible for creating in this role included high level project plans, cost analysis documentation, expense/allocation approaches, and two year timetables.


Technology Solutions Company

Mr. Ryder was the Global Transformation Lead for Order to Cash implementation. He managed this implementation throughout the entire project life cycle- from design to deployment. In this role Mr. Ryder was responsible for identifying, managing, and delivering process and technological improvements globally across outsourced centers in three countries and one domestic shared service operation. During this transformation effort, Mr. Ryder leveraged ERP configuration modifications, third party vendor products, Six Sigma tools and policy changes to improve costs and profitability.


Marketing and Travel Corporation

Mr. Ryder was the Cross-track Project Lead and Solution Architect for the Order to Cash, PPM, ATR, PPR and PTP work streams. Current state is characterized by multiple legacy platforms across diverse business and product groups being fed by customized transaction processing engines. The delivery environment that he created consisted of Finance/Accounting Shared Services for centralized and decentralized product centers. Much of Mr. Ryder’s effort focused on complex business problems utilizing shared services and outsourced delivery models. The resolution of this project was an estimated savings of $100MM in process improvement, shared services, and outsourced opportunities.
