Mr. Ryder is an accomplished Finance, Operations, Information Technology and Shared Services executive with extensive Leadership experience delivering shareholder value for Fortune 500 and private companies. During his 25 year career spanning Automotive Supply Chain, Financial Services and Professional Services he quickly built a reputation for applying rigorous financial criteria to identify opportunities in troubled shared service centers, leveraging technology to improve productivity and architecting Transformational change management programs to provide sustaining value. As an operations executive, he has a track record of success in both Finance and IT. A core capability is the skill to develop sustainable strategies and then through people, process and technology drive execution excellence at the transaction level of detail. Professionally, he has led organizations such as Navistar, Citicorp, HSBC, JP Morgan Chase, and Trans Union (Marmon Group) in achieving operational excellence. He has held the titles of Vice President, Director, and General Manager. Continually stepping up to the challenge, he has never met a problem or opportunity he hasn’t liked. Some of the more notable experiences was the restructuring of a $100M Private equity buy out to position the company for growth; a $4M technology and software company that he grew to over $23M in revenue in (3) years; and a Venture Capital backed technology and internet electronic payments company with a $80M capitalization. He has held the titles of Manager Supply Chain, VP/General Manager and Chief Technology and Service Officer.
His consulting career started in 2000 when he launched RoLinPro Inc., a Professional Services practice that focused on order to cash, revenue cycles and systems integration. Recruited in 2003 by Accenture as a Senior Manager, he became the Global Subject Matter Expert for clients in need of Transformational Change in Finance, IT and Shared Services/BPO. As a business solution architect, Rod sold and managed numerous engagements in North America and the UK, including strategy, program/project development and conceptual and functional design of Oracle ERP systems. Recently returning to private practice, representative clients included Chubb, Carlson Companies, Accor, Hyatt, Colony Capital, Bowater, Bank of America and Navistar. His extensive expertise spans Strategy, Business Process Reengineering, Shared Services/BPO and Systems Integration for Finance and IT.
Mr. Ryder has 25 years of program/project management experience and has initiated and delivered over (200) business and IT projects to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and profits through enhanced use of technology, systems, metrics and people. Experience spans multiple businesses, geographies, products and services. A pre-med graduate of Northwestern University, he earned an MBA at Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Finance and Operations. He currently resides in the western suburbs of Chicago with his family and three children.
